President issues the Presidential decree on regulation of right to information from official sources |

 President Maumoon Abdul gayyoom has issued the Presidential decree on regulation of right to information from official sources.
He issued the decree in a meeting with the press.while addressing the press the president said that it gave him great pleasure to ratify such a law on the occasion of International Press Freedom day.
He said that this law will aid the press in getting the information that it needs and also pave the way for government activities to be conducted in a transparent system. |
